THE HISTORY OF LEADERSHIP SURVEY IN THE WORLD’S PSYCHOLOGICAL-PEDAGOGICAL STUDY

Abstract
Leadership is a central psychological-pedagogical problem. And no matter what field of survey in psychology or pedagogics we apply the problem of leadership cannot be avoided. Leadership is as old as the mankind. It exists everywhere – in big and small organizations, in business, in religion, in trade unions and in mercy institutions, in different companies and universities. Leadership, in all its intentions and goals, is a sign number one in every community. Leaders-to-be trainings are perceived as a state strategic aim. The system of education is given the most special role in disclosing this problem, because education needs new psychological-pedagogical approaches to the processes of leadership development of the modern youth. But the creation of new models for leadership cannot exist without the knowledge of the history of the given phenomenon, without systematization of methods existing, as well as without the analysis of researchers’ experience in the field of leadership.
