REALIZATION OF PROGRAMMATIC CHARACTER IN THE WORKS OF BELARUSIAN COMPOSERS FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA

Abstract

Expansion of the thematic areas in concertos for piano and orchestra in the beginning of the XXI century is marked. The problems of realization of programmatic character of piano concertos, created in the last decade by Belarusian composers are considered. Thematic and substantive aspects of the Concerto “Enlightenment” by A. Bezenson for piano and symphony orchestra, “Light her candle” by O. Hodosko for piano and orchestra and the Concerto “Calypso” by A. Litvinovsky for piano and string orchestra are identified. The works are analyzed from the perspective of philosophical and religious orientation of their contents, especially drama, form, musical language. Expansion of music shaped structure, synthesis of traditional music and expressive means with modern composition techniques demonstrate the process of updating of the concert genre in modern Belarusian music.
