Abstract
The article deals with the project method as one of the innovative approaches to the complex development of the components of communicative competence. The article describes the stages of the project method usage. This information allows us to take into account all the key characteristics of this activity and apply them in foreign students teaching. The tasks, offered in the article, prepare future specialists for professional activities, developing the ability to collect and analyze information, speak to the public and interact with other students.
