Abstract

The article covers the problem of training highly qualified teachers. One of the ways to solve it is to use the museum's educational activities in the training of future teachers, which ensures the formation of their personal competencies (values, values, civic and patriotic, cultural, health, personal and developmental), which are the basis of citizenship, patriotism orientation, as well as the ability to self-education and self-development required in modern society. The methodological bases of using the museum's funds in the education and training of students of pedagogical specialties are revealed: approaches (axiological, cultural, personality-oriented, systemic, competence) and principles of their implementation.
