Abstract

The paper considers the possibility of using the Компас 3D solid-state modeling program in the educational process when studying "Engineering Graphics" by students of the 1st course of the Vitebsk State Technological University. The possibility of three-dimensional modeling is implemented when performing a general view drawing from the nature of an assembly unit. Sketches, models of parts of the assembly unit, a virtual model of the assembly unit and a general drawing based on the model of the assembly unit have been created. The advantages of using solid-state modeling in the educational process are noted. The use of solid-state modeling programs in the educational process contributes to the development of spatial representation and imagination of the student, and on their basis-the development of technical thinking of the future engineer.
