Abstract
The results of an empirical study of indicators of professional self-determination, psychological adaptation of governesses to the specifics and conditions of their professional activity are presented. However, the main attention is paid to the reflection of the results of the study of the interrelationships of these two phenomena - the nature of the influence of the indicators of professional self-determination on the components of the professional activity of governesses and on activities in general.
