PROBLEMS OF FORMATION OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL REPRESENTATIONS AMONG STUDENTS OF THE SPECIALTY "DESIGN"

Abstract
The survey, which is one of the empirical research methods that make it possible to quickly remove information on a question of interest from a large number of respondents, was conducted as part of a dissertation study, the purpose of which is to identify the factors of formation of three-dimensional spatial representations in design students through drawing. The results of the survey are presented and the analysis of the data obtained is carried out, revealing the degree of conscious fulfillment by students of various stages of the drawing; possession of various techniques used in the execution of the drawing; the same level of formation of their three-dimensional representations in the process of learning drawing. This survey was recognized as corresponding to objective indicators on the subject by teachers of the PSU Educational Institution teaching drawing to students of the specialty "Design". Based on the results, a number of methodological recommendations have been developed that contribute to improving the process of forming threedimensional representations among design students.
