THE ROLE OF EMOTIONAL CREATIVITY IN THE ELECTION OF COPING STRATEGIES

Abstract
The conscious and unconscious emotional creativity of young people are characterized. The connection of conscious emotional creativity with coping strategies is analyzed. It is shown that for the coping behavior of people with a high level of emotional creativity, the most important are the components of emotional creativity, such as emotional awareness and sincerity in the expression of emotions. The coping behavior of individuals with low and medium levels of emotional creativity is more associated with the desire for unusual experiences. The least value for coping is the clarity of expression of emotions. It is established that in stressful situations for people with a high level of emotional creativity, emotional experience helps not to distance oneself from problems related to stress, and to persons with a low level of emotional creativity, the ability to experience unusual emotions contributes to a positive reassessment and constructive resolution of the problem.
