VIRTUAL CULTURAL SPACE IN CONTEMPORARY SCIENTIFIC DISCOURSE

Abstract
The article discusses the concept of the information society, the various approaches to the definition of a "virtual", virtual reality and virtual cultural space, as well as a number of current theories of virtual space, including actor-network theory, the theory of environmental intelligence, Internet of Things. Author highlights the important aspects of these theories for cultural studies, and some significant aspects of the further study of virtual cultural space: interdisciplinarity, the interpenetration of the "virtual" and "real".
