MANNERISM AS AN “ECLECTIC” HUMANISM (RENAISSANCE PROCESSES IN ITALY IN CONDITIONS OF THE END OF THE XVI CENTURIES)

Abstract

There analyzed the processes of deformation of “classical” humanism and formation of the conception of the “eclectic humanism”, the example of which is mannerism. Namely in this fiction trend reflected the collision of humanistic ideals with social realities (the destruction of free cities-communities, the formation of monarchies, the reformation and antireformation etc.). Humanistic content of the art is substituted by subjectivism, formal elegance, decorative approach, allegoric sense and symbolism. There marked that in difficult conditions within inner collisions in Italy at the end of the XVI century there appears such a specific phenomenon as mannerism, fancifulness, mannerism, artificiality and affected manners which reflected the important changes of the Italian culture.

The most famous Italian mannerists were Ya. Ponmorto, G.B. Rosso, A. Bronzino, F. Parmijanono, F. Primaticho, P. Tibaldi, B. Chelinni, B. Ammanati, G. Vazari, B. Bountalenti and main theorists were Govanni Paolo Lomazzo and Federico Zukkari. Mannerism is the solving of the question of the correlation of the creative subject and the object that was formed by it in the culture of the Renaissance.
