Abstract

This article deals with the problem of teaching a foreign language to students of non-language specialities, which should be seen not so much as a substantive value (as a set of information in the system language), but as a service. It is noted that the approach to the discipline of “Foreign language” should be understood as a tool that serves the implementation of professional, social and personal activities of students.


It is proposed to work out not only training programs for learning a foreign language in a particular University and on a specific chair, but also to have alternative programs expanded and in-depth course of foreign language, taking into account personal and professional guidance of future specialists in the field of intercultural communication and business communication.
