THE ROLE OF BUSINESS ENGLISH FOR FUTURE MAHAGERS AND ECONOMISTS

Abstract

The study of business English is of considerable interest nowadays. A number of extra-linguistic factors, such as the development of economic, political and trade relations among the countries contribute to this process. Today the sphere of using Business English as a language of international communication expands significantly. It serves very important areas of human relationships: between the state power and the public, between the countries, companies, organizations, institutions, individuals and society. This article describes such notions as “business communication” and “business English”; considers the state requirements for the level of training of high school graduates with a degree “Manager Economist” and gives a number of reasons for the introduction of a special course “English for future economists” in the curriculum.
