NATION AND NATIONAL SELF-IDENTIFICATION AS OBJECTS OF COMPREHENSION IN EUROPEAN PHILOSOPHICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract
The problems, which are connected with the notions “nation” and “national self-identification” in globalizing world, are considered. The main collision is detected on the level of diversion of meaningful aspects of this notions in the European philosophical discourse according to contemporary conditions of changeable social system. Belarusian society still remains in the conflict between notion and reality of social life. A special thing in this case is strengthening of the conflict between ethnocentrism and civil nationalism. This article contains theoretical analyzing of this concepts and some propositions of avoiding the conflict of ethnocentrism and civil na-tionalism, which are the principles of formation of national integrity.
