PROSPECTS OF CARRYING OUT OLYMPIC GAMES IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

Abstract
The relation of students of Polotsk State University and pupils of Novopolotsk school of the Olympic reserve to the prospect of carrying out Olympic Games in the Republic of Belarus is defined and the positive and negative sides of this prospect are revealed. The received data showed that carrying out Olympic Games gives a positive impulse to economy development, growth of prestige and authority of the country in the world, and all this will directly be displayed on quality and the standard of living of the population of the Republic of Belarus. It was defined that economic efficiency on the organization and carrying out Olympic Games will depend first of all on the model defined by organizers themselves. The most important fact is that thanks to the games precondi-tions for long and sustainable economic development of the country are created. The conducted research also showed that carrying out Olympic Games in the Republic of Belarus is admissible only on summer sports.
