The volume-planning and constructive solutions of the House of Peter I in Polotsk are considered. The results of the technical survey of the building obtained with the use of nondestructive testing methods are given. The work was carried out using ferroscan, georadar and shock-impulse device. The technological processes of restoration and reconstruction in the building are described, indicating the applied domestic and foreign materials. A variant of strengthening the stone foundation, implemented during the reconstruction of the building, is proposed. The complex of restoration works provided an increase in exhibition space in the House of Peter by using the basement premises 2 times, significantly increased the operational period for the building to the next repair measures and allowed to attract new categories of visitors to the exhibition.
