RESTORATION OF DEFENCES IN LUBCHA CASTLE

Abstract
Restoration and reconstruction works of 2008–2016 on the territory of a Lubcha castle complex have been analyzed on the results of technical examination of the castle’s defences. The results of archeological excavations of two defence towers’ beddings, made in summer 2016, are described in the article. Documentary photography and measuring drawings made the ground for 3D modelling. The model has become the key for a comprehensive understanding of an architectural complex comprising the constructions of different epochs.
