WALL MATERIALS ON THE BASIS OF STRAW AND FLAX BOON WITH HIGH HEAT-INSULATING PROPERTIES

Abstract
World experience of utilization of straw and flax boon in industry, particularly in construction sphere is observed. Experimental compositions of wood concrete with various contents of plant fillers are investigated. Main characteristics of wood concrete on the basis of straw and flax boon are defined. Minimum thickness of outside wall from developed wood concrete blocks is found out to be 300 mm that provides required heat transmission resistance. Low compression strength of 2…2,4 MPa determines application of such blocks for construction of structural walls in skeleton-type buildings.
