Abstract

The author draws attention to the fact that the Eurasian Network Financial Institute (ESFI) was created in the Eurasian space to train financiers capable of responding to the challenges of Eurasian integration and adequately respond to the slowdown in its development. The author's concern about the possibility of fulfilling the ESFI mission in the conditions of theoretical uncertainty in the understanding of the category of "finance" in the Eurasian space is indicated and reasoned. The fact is that the financial schools of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Moscow universities are built mainly on the distributive concept of finance and "suffer" from all its imperfections that have manifested themselves over many years of operation. As a working hypothesis, it is suggested that financial education, built without a strong theoretical foundation, will not be able to become a driver of activation of Eurasian integration. The ways of solving this problem are proposed.
