Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis of the definitions of "logistics potential", considers the structure of the logistics potential of the region. The author proposes and substantiates the indicators for assessing each structural element of the logistics potential (spatial, transit, transport, personnel and storage). A methodology for assessing the logistics potential has been developed and its level has been calculated in the context of the regions of the Republic of Belarus. Based on the results of the calculations, the ranks of the regions of the republic for the development of logistics potential were established, which made it possible to develop the main directions for increasing the logistics potential of the Grodno region, which ranks last in the ranking of regions in terms of the development of logistics potential.
