Abstract

The article discusses the shifts in the structure of world production and trade in mineral fertilizers and the features of the integration of the EAEU manufacturers into international exchange and production. Increased competition for markets and insufficient attention of domestic producers to the processes of integration into global value chains are noted. As a future agenda for the development of the fertilizer industrial complex, it is proposed to switch to trade and industrial policies focused on long-term structural changes in the global industry and the market, integration into world value chains, transformation of competition into partnership.
