Abstract

The article considers the evolution of the concept of digitalization, gives definitions at the stages of its formation, and draws up a temporary tape of the concept. The article considers the interpretation of the concept of digitalization in the legislative and legal framework of the Eurasian Economic Union member States. The analysis of the level of digitalization of the Eurasian Economic Union member States based on international ICT ratings was carried out. A segmented analysis was carried out and the leaders in the implementation of the digital transformation program among the Eurasian Economic Union member states were identified. The main advantages and disadvantages of digitalization of the electric power industry are highlighted. The main directions of digital transformation of the electric power industry of the Republic of Belarus have been determined. Indicators are proposed for assessing the production and economic results of digitalization of the electric power complex of the Republic of Belarus.
