Abstract

The objective necessity of a comprehensive assessment of the use of freight cars is considered. Proves the system of indices, which is based on both the operational performance and efficiency indicators of management. The article reveals the phasing of analytical research, which allows not only to assess the effectiveness of the use of production resources, but also to develop the main directions of their development.
