Abstract

The article examines the impact of the globalization of markets and the internationalization of production on the income distribution. An analysis of the discussion between representatives of the currents is held, which argue that globalization only increases inequality in the income distribution, and those who prove that integration processes allows developing countries to enter the process of the international division of labor and reduce the income gap. The processes of markets globalization and the internationalization of production influence on the income distribution are investigated on the basis of empirical data: the coefficient of globalization and the Gini coefficient. The degree and direction of such influence is assessed on the example of developed and developing countries, and the general patterns of the impact are identified.
