Abstract

The scheme of migration of the population within the country, compiled on the basis of analysis of methods for studying the location of productive forces, is presented. The final goal of the economic and geographical description is considered: the creation or improvement of the existing scheme for allocating productive forces, which will be used to create strategies and concepts for the development of the region and the country. The most acceptable methods for analyzing migration, productive forces on the territory of Belarus: method of system analysis, program-target, statistical, balance, cartographic, method of economic and mathematical modeling; their characteristics and the possibility of applying them to the study of the location of productive forces in the regions are given.
