THE INFLUENCE OF CHRISTIAN RELIGION ON THE GENESIS OF THE MARKET ECONOMY

Abstract
The features of emergence and action of various types of world, some of which admit, while others limit the formation and implementation of market-type rationality of actors in various historical types of social structures are discussed. The various types of rationality inherent in both religious and secular human consciousness are examined; the relationship between the types of rationality in the pagan, Christian and secular traditions are shown. The conclusion about the need to study the worldview of people, which determines the construction and function operation range of socio-economic structures of society for an adequate understanding of how the functional rationality of the market is done.
