FORENSIC PREVENTION AS AN ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL LEGAL SYSTEM OF CRIME PREVENTION MEASURES

Abstract
On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the literature and empirical materials the problem of crime prevention with forensic tools and methods (forensic prevention) at the current stage of development of criminalistics is being considered. The concept of criminalistic prevention in the broad and narrow sense of the word is considered. The place of criminalistic prevention in the system of general legal prevention of crimes is determined. The problems, types and content of criminalistic prevention are revealed. The possibilities of investigative and expert-criminalistic crime prevention are considered. The means for identifying circumstances that contributed to the commission of a crime are highlighted. The conclusion is made on the definition of criminalistic prevention as a system of forensic knowledge and the skills and skills of law enforcement officers based on them for using scientific tools, methods and methods of criminalistics to prevent crime.
