ROLE OF FORWARDING SERVICE IN LOGISTIC CHAIN

Abstract
The role of forwarding services in the logistics chain is examined. The importance of logistics for customers, organization suppliers, its owners and shareholders is considered. The need for the integral nature of the offered services is shown, in particular, combination of the transportation, warehouse logistics, processing of cargo and following services in a unified proposals package in the form of integrated forwarding service. It was concluded that there is an existing need both for organizing and coordinating the implementation of the stages of transportation and for carrying out the process of transporting related services that can be implemented directly by the cargo owners or a specialized organization.
