LIBERAL THOUGHT AT VILENSKY UNIVERSITY IN BEGINNING ХІХ OF CENTURY

Abstract
In article origin and development of liberal thought at Vilensky university in beginning of century ХІХ considered. The purposes Are opened and program tasks of the liberal organisations first in Belarus – secret student’s partnerships filomatov which (1817–1818) they acted at Vilensky university in 1817–1823 In the first period put before themselves the main things cultural and educational tasks, profound studying of sciences and moral enhancement of the person. In the second period (1818–1823) at filomatov there were political ideas, they condemned despotism (autocracy), the serfdom, supported exemption of peasants. They understood happiness of the person as dialectic interrelation public and private interests, as service to Fatherland. The future of Belarus saw in Rechi Pospolitoj borders (to its first section). As representatives of a liberal direction connected achievement of the purposes and tasks with moral enhancement of the person, by means of a science, education and edu c a tion.
