DIGITAL LITERACY OF THE POPULATION AS A MEANS OF INFORMATION SECURITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract
The article deals with digital literacy as a means of ensuring information security in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. The study covers both the regulatory and institutional aspects of information security, incl. through increasing the digital literacy of the population. A number of directions have been proposed to raise the level of digital literacy of citizens, incl. through the introduction of modern tools of information interaction in the state system of dissemination of legal information. The content of the powers of the state bodies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the field of ensuring the information security of the state, society and citizens is also disclosed. Particular attention is paid to the information security of children (youth).
