Abstract
This article analyzes the French model of management of high performance sport as well as the key factors for success and the development of athletes in the international arena. Considered in detail various forms of support elite athletes in the country, forms of financial support for high performance sport in France. The estimation of the role of sport in France, the national political culture, as well as the strategic influence of the Ministry of Health, Youth and Sports.
