Abstract

The author examines the professional ethics as a methodological basis of professional legal culture. Legal ethics stipulates the specifics of professional lawyer activity, especially its moral and ethical position. Particularly close relationship of legal and moral rules which regulate their professional activity is a characteristic feature for professional legal ethics. This formula correctly defined a co-relation of legal and moral in lawyer activities. Features of the legal profession stipulate the existence of legal ethics. The legal profession, as traditional European culture, spreads the idea of behavior on the formal ethics codes and professional conduct codes. Historical experience shows that an administrative resource is not enough to solve the ethical problems, because there are certain consequences of negative phenomena in society.
