Abstract
A number of differences, as well as the general principles of labor law in the national labor laws of the Member States of the European Union are considered. The legal framework of the European Union in the field of labor law is studied. The tendencies on the approximation of national legislation in the various Member States of the European Union and the development of European employment law, including through a specially created institutions of the European Union and jurisprudence are examined.
