Abstract
The provisions of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus on organ and tissue transplantation are analyzed. The role of legal regulation of legal relations in the field of organ and tissue transplantation and the need to improve the legal regulation of the institution of organ and tissue transplantation are outlined. Attention is focused on the circle of people who can be donors, and the importance of securing their rights and responsibilities is emphasized. Recommendations have been developed and proposed to improve the legal regulation of the relations under consideration: expanding the circle of living donors, improving information to citizens about the presumption of consent to organ removal after death for transplantation.
