Abstract

The article considers the theoretical aspects of the economic essence of the “venture capital”, offers the author’s definition of the studied categories and vision of its structure, defined and systematized features of venture capital. Based on theoretical analysis of the venture capital essential characteristics defined the features of venture capital financing in the Republic of Belarus. Presented the author’s development of the financial mechanism of venture investment with the specification of the elements and its constituent subsystems with the determination of their functional features. Reflected the cycle of the movement of venture capital from the investor to the innovator with the definition of the forms and ways of movement. Based on the identified the duality of the nature of venture capital presented the problems of accounting during its movement. Defined the main directions of improvement of investment and innovation activities in the Republic of Belarus in the effective development of the National innovation system with specification of the strengths of the investment climate in the Republic of Belarus.
