Abstract
Analysis of the national banking system development trends are summarized and systematized the stages of innovation; the application object is theoretically innovative solutions at the Bank, clarified the nature of the definition of "banking innovation". Identifies and systematizes the basic directions of innovation activity of the Bank to improve its efficiency and competitiveness in an open economy. Worked out the basic principles of a systematic approach to improve the efficiency of banking activities based on the use of innovation. Formulated the principles on the effective management of innovation-oriented bank banking business, and on the basis of the criteria that the system must meet assessment of efficiency of introduction of banking innovation.
