ANALYSIS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY: ALGORITHM, INDICATORS, RESULTS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the review of economic categories: knowledge intensity, technological and innovation as well as the main approaches and indicators used in their evaluation. Based on the synthesis of described approaches, the developed analysis algorithm for innovative development of manufacturing industries is described, which includes three stages: comparative analysis of indicators of innovative development of high-technology production; structural analysis of dynamics of innovative development of production by level of technological capability; comparative analysis of level and dynamics of wages by production. Presented the validation of the algorithm using available statistics on manufacturing industry production of the Republic of Belarus and formulated conclusions. Special attention is given to the analysis of innovative development of the pharmaceutical industry.
