PROSPECTS OF USING THE MECHANISM OF PRIVATE-STATE PARTNERSHIP IN THE AREA OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS

Abstract

The article explains the need for increased funding in the development of physical culture and sports, including in connection with the world-class sporting events. The article discusses the prospects and direction of business participation in the financing of physical culture and sports through public-private partnerships. The main factors affecting the development of public-private partnership in the field of physical culture and sports are re-vealed. The main factors are: lack of confidence in the long-term intentions of the state, the uncertainty of commercial benefit from the use of constructed sports facilities after the world championships, imperfect legal framework of public-private partnership. The role of the Federal Law “On public-private partnership” in activization of the involvement of business into physical education and sport is revealed.
