Relations between the concepts “logistical system”, “logistical canal”, “logistical chain” and “supply chain” are considered. The similarity of concepts “logistical chain” and “supply chain” is noted. The concept “logistical system” is disclosed and all its subsystems are analyzed. For each subsystem objectives and tasks to be solved to achieve the objectives are set. The definitions of the logistical canal, logistical chain, supply chain are given, distinct boundaries between them are established. Key links, contributing to the formation of the logistical chain, through which the material and information supply from the supplier to the consumer goes are identified. The objective basis for the development of the logistical chain management in the activity of an enterprise is identified. Main directions of improving the efficiency of logistical chain on the enterprise are proposed, quantitative and qualitative indicators of its evaluation are established.
