METHODOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF MAKING THE ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN THE MARKET ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
The main methodological approaches and techniques to elaborate strategies for enterprise development are considered. A scheme for the use of SWOT-analysis of the enterprises in shaping its strategy is presented. The strategic planning function is made specific. The basic problems and methodological principles of enterprise development strategy in the market environment are defined. Analysis of methodological problems of development of the strategies to achieve long-term sustainability of the enterprises as business systems has shown that the diversification into the growing industry trends may indicate long-term stagnation of a particular industry, and to achieve strategic objectives and competitive advantages of accumulation is important to assess promptly the factors affecting the dynamics of the market and enter fast-growing commodity markets.
