ANALYSIS AND PRACTICE OF USE OF ON-SITE COLLECTIONS AT THE INVESTIGATION OF CRIMES

Abstract

The article is devoted the analysis of practice of forming and use of model collections in investigation of crimes. In which it is marked as model collections are used in practice for providing of criminalistics examinations. It is known that the court direct the experiment to study a lot of different objects. The majority of these studies it is the responsibility of forensics analysts. The article illustrates how to use in practice to ensure of forensics analysts of model collections. Forensics analysts, investigators are not sufficiently aware of the use of model collections and underestimate their capabilities, and therefore the effectiveness of model collections in the investigation of crime is still quite low. It is concluded on the need of publishing in the special reference publica-tions intended for investigators, judges and experts, lists of existing information assets. These lists will serve as a forensic indication of where you can get the right information.
