DEVELOPMENT OF RISK-BASED PRODUCT QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX (USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE SUGAR INDUSTRY)

Abstract

The article discusses modern approaches to the quality management of agricultural products, taking into account the risk-based approach. The basic principles of quality management, enshrined in the ISO 9000:2015 standards and the TQM concept, are analyzed, and the need for their expansion is justified, taking into account the current issues of environmental friendliness and digitalization. Special attention is paid to the integration of EFQM/RADAR, FERMA and COSO ERM models into a single quality management system. A structural and logical model of risk-based quality management has been developed, adapted to the conditions of the sugar industry in the Republic of Belarus. The practical significance of the proposed model for the sugar industry is shown, covering both the stage of production of agricultural raw materials and the stage of industrial processing to increase the sustainability, competitiveness and export potential of enterprises.

The article will be of interest to specialists involved in the study of problems of improving the quality of manufactured products, government institutions developing approaches to the implementation of quality management systems at enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. The research results can be used to develop a strategy for improving the quality of manufactured products, taking into account a risk-based approach.
