DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY AND MECHANISMS TO IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL AND NATIONAL TRENDS

Abstract
In terms of market economy special importance is given to the questions connected with the development of industrial enterprises in the time of dynamic changes of the external environment. Absence of a rational production system and methology of environmental management can not only hinder the development of an enterprise, but also lead to the loss of market positions. In the article development and improvement of the environmental management system which demands formation of environmentally safe management and ensures optimal correlation of ecological and economical indicators are considered from the perspective of global and national changes. With the prospect for the Republic of Belarus to enter the WTO system obligatory requirements appear to ensure competitiveness of products due to environmental components, which is possible in terms of creation of environmental management system at an enterprise. Effective management, inseparable from the process of globalization, and ecologization of production, is becoming a key prerequisite for successful functioning of an industrial enterprise.
