THE CONCEPT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

Abstract
The author makes an attempt to create an author’s project of the Concept of juvenile justice in the Republic of Belarus on the basis of examination of theoretical material on juvenile justice and the project of the Concept of juvenile justice in the Republic of Belarus, developed in 2003. The project consists of the Introduction and four chapters. The level and dynamics of juvenile crime and contemporary state of the bodies and establishments for juvenile criminals in the Republic of Belarus are analyzed in the first chapter. The second chapter deals with the regulation of goals, objectives, principles, subjects and objects of juvenile justice. The third chapter includes the author’s proposals on improvement of the structure and operstion of the present bodies and establishments for juvenile criminals in the Republic of Belarus, and creation of the system of the bodies of juvenile justice. The Concept finishes with the establishment of the stages of its realization.
