MECHANISMS FOR THE REGULATION OF FOREIGN TRADE IN THE SOUTHERN AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY (SADC)

Abstract
It is shown that regulation of foreign trade in the Southern African region is done within the international integration group Southern African Development Community (SADC) as well as on the national level; findings include specifics of formation of tariff, non-tariff and customs regulations in terms of tools, regulation methods, institutional structures and legislation; among the examined national regulation models are the ones of Angola, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of South Africa.
