THE DEFINITION OF EFFICIENCY OF BUILDING MATERIALS APPLICATION TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE LIFE CYCLE

Abstract
Сonstruction is one of the most important branches of the domestic economy. The efficiency of its functioning defines a level of society development and its productive forces. The article presents the results of the analysis of the building complex of the Republic of Belarus development in recent years. The necessity of increase of building efficiency through effective usage of building materials is revealed. The criterion considering the life cycle of the product is offered for the estimation of degree of material efficiency. Comparative analysis of the efficiency of two building materials – expanded clay lightweight concrete blocks and ceramic bricks is carried out.
