Abstract

The results of studies of change of absorption coefficient of CuxInxZn2-2xSex thin films are shown, obtained by selenium saturation of basic layers ZnSe/(Cu+In) depending on the consentration of zinc atoms. On the basis of the results shown values of the width of forbidden zone in CuxInxZn2–2xSex thin films are obtained. The data obtained show that thin films CIZS are perspective materials for thin film solar elements, and in addition the price of thin films will be much lower, because replacement of expensive materials as Ga and In for less expensive zinc takes place.
