THE WORD COMBINATIONS WITH FUNCTIONAL VERBS AND THE NOMINATIVE SET IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of allocation of word combinations with functional verbs in the German language. The allocated combinations have been analyzed using the theory of nominative derivation. The systematic relations between the obtained meanings of the derivative verbs and the combinations with German functional verbs have been established. The verbal-nominal combinations with a functional verb have been considered as one of the components of a nominative set as such verbs can function as discrete and are a means of expression of derivational semantics. The attention to analytical means of expression of derivative meanings allows estimating the potential of word-formation means in the language.
