Abstract
The article examines the phraseology of the French and Belarusian languages in the context of grammatical structure and socio-cultural aspects. The main focus is on zoological units, identifying their lexical and grammatical features in French and Belarusian, as well as differences and patterns related to their functioning in these languages. The research is aimed at defining criteria for distinguishing phraseological expressions and free combinations, as well as conducting a comparative analysis of their grammatical and semantic characteristics.
