WOOD POLYMER COMPOSITE: RESEARCH OF THE PROPERTIES OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS, OBTAINED FROM POWDERED COPOLYMER AND SAWDUST

Abstract
The paper investigates the effect of temperature and pressure compression, as well as binder content and particle size distribution of wood filler on the physic and chemical properties of composite materials. A copoly-mer of acrylonitrile and vinyl chloride was used as the binder, wood sawdust – as the filler. The results showed a significant improvement in the properties of composites under certain values of technological parameters. As the result, it has been found that the greatest influence on the properties of the composites had temperature and pressure compression.
