MODELLING OF INFLUENCE OF ROUGHNESS OF THE SPHERICAL SURFACE OF THE PART ON FEED SPEED SELECTION OF THE ROTATING CUTTING TOOL

Abstract
Influence of roughness of the spherical surface of the part on feed speed selection of the rotating cutting tool was examined. Goals of the study were formulated. Mathematical modeling of the studied process was carried out. The formulas for calculating the installation parameters of the cutting tool, workpiece and tool feed speed due to the roughness of the treated spherical surface of the part are specified. Results of sample processing of parts for given values of the roughness and the corresponding tool feed were analysed.
